Daisy Nails

Although I'm not very good at it my favourite thing to do is decorate my nails, so I thought I'd show you a recent nail design I created. I've had more compliments on my nails with this pattern on than I've ever had so that has given me a big confidence boost in sharing it with you!

I started off by applying 2 layers of '503 mind the gap, victoria' by Rimmel London in the 60 seconds range as a base colour. I adore this blue so much as it is my favourite shade of blue and makes anything dull look amazing!

I then went ahead to use '450 daisy days' also by Rimmel London but in Rita Ora's range, to apply to dots diagonally opposite to each other to create the centre of the daisies. I'm yet to wear this colour on it's own as I just bought it recently, but it also seems a gorgeius vibrant colour which is lerfect for the summer.

To create the petals and the four white dots on each nail I used a white squeezy stick nail polish which I bought in a pack of three along with black and hot pink for £1 from Primark. I use it so much it's running out! The three of them are excellent for creating small detailed patterns and are so easy to use even for those without the steady hand; like me!
After I added the and four little dots on each nail I used a tooth pick to add more yellow (using daisy days) to the centre again.

If you try this sort of pattern or something similar, or have some other nail designs you love, show me and let me know!

Holiday shop haul

As some of you may know I went on holiday a few weeks ago and of course I dedicated one day of the holiday to have a major shopping spree with my mum, sister, nanny and boyfriend (I bet he had a wail of a time)! It was a great day out, this year we went to Quedam shopping centre in Yeovil which has most of my favourite shops so I was extremely happy to be going there. I put myself on a budget as I'm trying to save for driving lessons, but I still managed to spend way more than planned... At least I'm happy with everything I got! Here are most of the things I bought;

New Look was the first shop we entered and that is where my mum bought me a gorgeous leather jacket as a holiday present which I absolutely love, and where I bought my huge new school bag! I went slightly out of my comfort zone with this school bag as I always buy black bags, but this bag is a gorgeous salmon pink and grey colour and it has stolen my heart.

Next was River Island, I had a good look around and tried a few things on but nothing really caught my eye except a gorgeous grey and white purse - the perfect type I've been looking for and I just had to buy it.

We then went into Boots... And this is where I went a little crazy because of the 3 for 2 offer. I bought a new Rimmel London 25hr foundation in 100 Ivory and a new Rimmel London Stay Matte compressed powder in 005 Silky Beige as planned because I will run out soon as well as Benefit's Hello Flawless Oxygen WOW in Ivory because I want to try a new and more expensive foundation to see the difference. I had completely run out of my Rimmel London Stay Matte Primer so I had to buy a new one of those, and I've been stealing my sisters Maybelline New York Lash Sensational mascara for too long and it is amazing, so I went ahead and got that too. Finally, I spotted a lovely lilac nail varnish by Barry M named Fondant, a colour from their gel range which I adore!

Pandora is always a beautiful shop to visit and this is where my nanny went a bit crazy buying things for all of us! She bought me a wonderful letter C charm to add the the other charms she got me previously for my bracelet.

Primark was next, the one shop we always end up spending a very long time at! After all of the fussing and wondering what to buy I ended up with two shirt/blouses, one white and one mint, and a cute bra. Ifan bought some gorgeous light denim skinny jeans (his first ever pair of skinny's, which aren't THAT skinny!) and a casual red t-shirt - we both left Primark very pleased!

Myself and Ifan then headed up to Topshop so I could buy another pair of Joni jeans which I have wanted for ages and to complete a cute little outfit (I always end up buying a specific outfit when I go shopping, or I end up never wearing what I bought)... and we spent a while in there too uhming and ahing about whether to pick up some more bits or not.

Finally, we visited Animal and Ifan picked up a bargain in there- a waterproof GoPro case for just £10! He was chuffed as anything.

We then went for a quick snack before heading back... Definitely a successful day shopping if I do say so myself.

What are your fave shops?

I live on public buses!

I spend up to 2 hours of every week day on public buses getting to and from school as I can't take the school bus all the time, and even if I do get the school bus I have to travel 9 miles on a public bus to get to the school pick up point! As we all know there are all sorts of types of people to find on public transport, so here are a few of the types of people on public buses.

The angry
Now these people are the stressheads. Fair enough if the bus is late and they need to make a connection at the next connecting depot, that has happened to me before. But these are the people who get angry at the driver for no particular reason and give dirty looks to any other passanger who stops the bus to get off it. Getting angry is no solution, if the bus is late it is late, it can not go any faster on the little country roads and through the small villages and from my experiences the drivers are already stressed if they are late because they know it is their duty to keep on time!

The old (60+ with a bus pass)
Recently I have seen many old people who drive to the bus stop, park and get on the bus to go to where they want for free. Okay that is fair enough but certain old women have a look of snobbery on their faces when they see teens have to pay for a ticket. When the bus is near to full and a few old people come onto the bus, some who are able and some who are not, we (as the younger generation) should move further up the bus or stand, I completely respect this but I do not feel keen to move from my seat for an old person who looks down on me in disgust and expects me to move without being polite about it (no please or thank you). I feel some old people take advantage of their age and think they can lose all their manners!

The loud
Now these people can range from having a loud conversation, eating/drinking loudly or having their music playing out loud. The loud conversations can be rather entertaining some times but on most occaisions they are plain annoying. Eating or drinking loudly is a pet hate of mine and it totally goes through me and as for the lad at the back of the bus who plays his stupid 2010 rap music out loud... You're not cool.

The tired
These people are the funniest to watch, you will see them have a snooze and then suddenly sit up straight all wide-eyed each time the bus stops to see if it is their stop. I personally have a giggle at these people to my self each time I see one, but this is very rare!

The fidgety
These are the people I would gladly pin down and tell to sit still. Why can you not just sit still? They will wriggle like a worm from one sitting position to another every 10 seconds... Cross legged, straight, side ways, coat off, coat used as a head rest, coat on etc., these people distract me, catch my eye and get on my nerves throughout the journey!

The tourists
As I live in the North of Wales, toursits from outside of Wales find it hard to pronounce the names of the towns and villages around the area, so mainly during the easter and summer holidays me and my friends have a right laugh at the tourists trying to pronounce the name of the town they are heading to to the bus driver... Sometimes, they don't even know where they are heading and try to explain a certain pub or hotel to the driver as their destination!

The creepy
This guy is the one who watches you go to your seat in a weird mannor and then every time you look he's looking at you. I'm sure this happens to every teenage girl? No matter where you are or what you're wearing there's always one creepy man.

The regulars
People like me, the ones who are on the same bus at the same time of that day each week (every other week in my case because of my school timetable). So I pretty much see the same people each time I get on the bus, I wonder the same things each time such as what have they been doing and how has their day been?

Let me know if you get these types of people wherever you live!
